Physical Therapist
Full-time
Under the supervision of the Director of Physical Therapy, the
Physical Therapist obtains patient's medical
history; evaluates
and administers treatment pursuant to the
physician referral;
completes all appropriate documentation in the
patient's medical
records; instructs patient and family members in
necessary patient
care; assists in the total rehabilitation of the
patient; assists
in the training of support personnel and in the
presentation of
in-service programs; and performs clerical and
other duties
as assigned. The Physical Therapist will also
assist the
Director of Physical Therapy in planning,
organizing,
developing and directing Physical therapy
services in accordance
with current applicable Federal, State and local
standards,
guidelines and regulations.
Minimum Requirements
-
Graduate from
a college with an
American Physical Therapy Association accredited Physical Therapy
curriculum for entry level Physical Therapy.

Current Michigan Physical
Therapist license.
-
Competence in the area
of physical therapy services in which
he/she will function.
Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist
Part-time
Under
the Clinical Direction of the Medical Director of Respiratory
Care and the Administrative Direction of the
Director of Specialty
Services, Certified and Registered Respiratory
Therapists assess,
treat, and care for patients with breathing
disorders. Assume
primary responsibility for all respiratory care
modalities, including
the supervision of respiratory therapy
assistants. Initiate and conduct
therapeutic procedures; maintain patient records;
and select, assemble,
check, and operate equipment.
Minimum Requirements
Certified
-
Completion of a two-year AMA approved
respiratory care program (associates degree or equivalent).

National Board of
Respiratory Care Certified Respiratory Therapist credential.

Michigan state
licensure.
Registered
-
Completion of a two-year AMA approved
respiratory care program (associates degree or equivalent).

National Board of
Respiratory Care Registered Respiratory Therapist credential.

Michigan state
licensure.
