Screening
Skin cancer is the most common form of cancer in the United States. Skin
cancer can be cured if treated before it has a chance to spread. This free
skin screening gives you the opportunity to receive a professional opinion

Prepare to handle the unexpected with this course designed to teach lay
rescuers, such as day care providers, teachers, scout leaders,
construction and factory workers how to treat life-threatening
emergencies. Video and practice sessions led by an American Heart
Association certified instructor teach
participants how to perform choking interventions and implement adult,
child and infant CPR. Participants demonstrate skills to receive a

**First Aid
Prepare for the unexpected! An American Heart Association Certified
Instructor guides participants through video and practice sessions that
teach skills needed to help a victim during an emergency including
bleeding, poisoning, allergic reactions and burns. This course satisfies
certification requirements needed by lay rescuers such as teachers, day
care providers, scout leaders, construction and factory workers.
Participants demonstrate first aid skills to receive a

Surgery
Considering Bariatric Surgery? For people suffering from severe obesity
and related health conditions, weight loss surgery may be the solution.
This educational seminar covers information on guidelines for patient
selection, medical care required before and after surgery,
pre-certification required by various insurance companies, dietary changes

Babysitting fun
& safety
Adolescents eleven and older can prepare to become babysitters. This class
offers instruction on preventing injuries, introductory first aid, CPR for
children ages 1 to 8, creative projects, preparing healthy snack foods,
and ways to have fun while staying safe. Whether participants have babysat
or plan to start babysitting, this class will provide them with
instruction on how to be a fun, safe sitter! To register call Health

Arthritic Knee
Arthritis in the knee joint limits movement and causes pain, and may

Look Good . . .
Feel Better
Look Good . . . Feel Better provides information and cosmetics to women
battling cancer. This training includes hands-on instruction on makeup,
skin care, and suggestions for using wigs, turbans, and scarves. It also
includes tips on nail care while undergoing treatment. Cosmetics are
provided for your
