Colon Health

When is the last time you thought about the health of your colon? For colorectal cancer awareness month Surgeon James Pilkington, MD, FACS will present a free program on colon health. This program will include information on general colon health, colorectal cancer and other health conditions that can affect the colon, and screening tests.

Dr. Pilkington attended medical school at Michigan State University’s College of Human Medicine. He completed a general surgery residency at Spectrum Health. He is board certified in surgery and as a general surgeon; he performs many different types of surgeries including laparoscopic bariatric, endocrine, antireflux, hernia, colon, breast and thyroid surgeries.
