Preventing & Treating Sports Injuires to the Shoulder
Spring will arrive soon with many opportunities for physical activities including tennis, golf, basketball, and swimming. But the repetitive motion of these physically stressful activities can challenge a weakened shoulder, stretching out the ligaments and resulting in shoulder instability and pain. Since the shoulder is the most mobile joint in your body, it’s not surprising that this greater range of motion results in less stability. Join Orthopedic Surgeon, Michael Moutsatson, DO, as he explores treatment options for preventing and relieving symptoms, as well as surgical treatment that may be necessary to repair torn or stretched ligaments.
