This comprehensive class provides information regarding childbirth including stages of delivery, effleurage, breathing techniques, medical concerns, and unexpected situations. Also discover ways to ease back pain and other discomforts which may be experienced during the last few weeks of pregnancy. Lecture, videos, models, and class discussion will provide up-to-date information for expectant parents. Taught by a registered nurse from CMCH’s obstetrical unit, this series will answer questions and provide the knowledge every mother can benefit from.

Central Michigan Community Hospital attempts to respond to all of our patients needs. Due to the overwhelming demand for childbirth classes we need to accommodate patients of CMCH "Active" Medical Staff OB/GYNs and will only be able to schedule others if space allows.
