Central Michigan Community Hospital has a new name. Effective today, it will be known as McLaren-Central Michigan.

The name was chosen by the hospital's board of directors. It retains the central Michigan identity while also capturing the strength of McLaren Health Care, which serves nearly 35 percent of all Michigan residents.
