Emergency Care

Central Michigan Community Hospital maintains a 24-hour Emergency Department offering 24-hour diagnostic imaging, laboratory, and cardiopulmonary services.

CMCH's Emergency Department is staffed by Emergency Medicine Specialists, P.C. (EMS), an independent professional corporation.  EMS has over 40 years experience in emergency medicine staffing, scheduling, risk management, EMTALA, quality improvement, billing, document management and medical education.  This top-notch physician team is committed to providing the highest level of emergency care for you or your loved ones - close to home. For more information, visit the EMS Web site at www.emspecialists.com.

Plus FAST TRACK service for small emergencies.
The Emergency Department has added a Fast Track process to help ease crowding and waiting times. Fast Track is designed to treat patients who need immediate attention for small emergencies such as lacerations, sprains, fractures, bruises, scratches, sore throats, ear infections and minor rashes. Our goal is for patients to be seen by a health care provider within 30 minutes.  Fast Track service is available seven days a week from 10 a.m. - 12 a.m.
